From festivals to conferences, corporate conventions to concerts, I have designed and organized successful large-scale events with fresh ideas, creative solutions and unmatched logistical expertise.

Whether it is to boost brand awareness and improve your bottom line with enhanced attendee experiences that bring measurable results or to motivate and delight guests with special activities that build engagement and create lasting moments, I have demonstrated track record of Strategic Planning and Operations skills in the realm of experiential events by increasing leads to drive sales and creating change in the industry.

As the Chief Executive Officer of The Rock Project Dhaka, I have organized many International concerts featuring artists from United States, United Kingdom, Japan, India, and Bangladesh.

The Rock Project is the UK’s premier school for children’s contemporary music tuition. It is an International Franchised network of Rock Schools. Founded in Denbigh, North Wales in 2005, there are currently 70+ Rock Project schools across the world. In 2015 The Rock Project Ireland was launched, January 2017 The Rock Project Bangladesh opened, followed by The Rock Project Mallorca in September 2017.

The Rock Project offers group lessons in electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals and the opportunity for young people aged 7-18 years old to put their musical skills into practice by performing regularly each week as part of a band.

I organized a 2-day music festival hosting world-renowned guitar virtuoso Guthrie Govan (UK). He was accompanied by Mohini Dey (India) on bass and Gino Banks (India) on drums to perform live at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh on February 26, 2017. Their performance was preceded by opening acts from Quanta, Samir Hafiz and Wasiun, X-Factor (Iqbal Asif Jewel, Manam Ahmed, Raef Al Hasan Rafa and Aldnane Alam) and Ershad Zaman. Guthrie also held a guitar clinic at Gulshan Shooting Club the following day.

Guitar virtuoso Guthrie Govan was given a hero’s welcome by musicians in Bangladesh with shreds, riffs, and solos to inaugurate The Rock Project Dhaka.

For all our enthusiasm and passion for the sound that an electric guitar can make, we have never been visited by an internationally-acclaimed guitarist. Until Sunday night.

The Rock Project Dhaka rather ambitiously endeavoured to bring Guthrie Govan to Dhaka. A guitarist’s guitarist, his name would not be familiar to many. But for those who know of him, they will be attending the guitar clinic in the afternoon today. I did.

The concert held at Krishibid Institute, Bangladesh (KIB) was a landmark in the music industry of Bangladesh. As Rasheeq Rayhan, guitarist (Quanta) and organiser (The Rock Project Dhaka) said: “This put Bangladesh on the map.”

The Rock Project Dhaka, in association with popular private radio station ABC Radio 89.2FM, hosted a jazz concert on April 30, 2017 marking International Jazz Day 2017, at Bangladesh Shilapakala Academy’s National Art Gallery.

International Jazz Day is coordinated each year by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz to highlight the power of jazz as a force for freedom and creativity, and a medium for promoting intercultural dialogue through respect and understanding, people all around the globe celebrate this event.

A range of jazz performances were presented by musicians from the local jazz scene in Dhaka, who have been actively contributing over the years to foster Bangladeshi culture with jazz music. The participating bands and artistes were Blue Lotus Trio, 42, Towfiq Arifin Turjo, Mohaimin Karim, Imran Ahmed, Rahin Haider, Robert Russell and Rushnaf Wadud.

The Rock Project Dhaka & Maximum Noise – Metal, Punk, Alternative Music proudly presented the 1st edition of the finest International Metal Festival in the heart of Bangladesh on July 7, 2017, featuring acclaimed Technical/Brutal Death Metal Quartet from Tokyo, Japan – DESECRAVITY.

Desecravity is signed by the esteemed US based label Willowtip Records. The furious quartet from Japan performed in Bangladesh for the very first time as a part of their 2017 Asia Tour.

Metal Hammer featured “Dhaka Metal Fest 2017” as one of the top (#4) metal concerts in the world on their 297th edition’s Festival Preview section.

Heavy rains triggered a deadly spate of landslides in at least 30 places of the hill district, Rangamati, at the southeastern Bangladesh on June 13, 2017. The landslides and intense flooding claimed the lives of at least 140 people in the region and at least 5,000 homes were destroyed or badly damaged.

It was one of Bangladesh’s deadliest natural disasters in the past decade — worse even than a 2007 landslide that killed about 130 people in the port city of Chittagong.

While many rescue operations and independent donations were undergoing, we stood beside the landslide victims by donating our entire profit from the concert. There was also a donation booth in the venue, where lot of people donated that was used to help the victims further.

I organized a 2-day music festival hosting one of the top guitarists in the world Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (USA). He is currently member of Progressive Rock supergroup ‘Sons of Apollo’ and Hard Rock supergroup ‘Art of Anarchy’. He was one of two lead guitarists in Guns N’ Roses from 2006 until 2014 and performed on their sixth studio album Chinese Democracy.

Bumblefoot performed in a live concert with many prominent as well as young musicians of the country. He also conducted an exclusive guitar clinic.
